The Mindfulness Based Stress Management Program is an approach to self-care that focuses on learning to effectively cope with life, loss, illness and chronic pain. A good friend shared a more simple understanding of the Mindfulness practice:
“Mindfulness is about really getting to know oneself with understanding, acceptance, love, and compassion to create a happier, more joyful, more successful, more meaningful, and more loving life for ourselves and those around us.”
During your day retreat for Mindful Living, you will partake in the experiential practice of some basics of the Mindfulness practice while taking time out for you to reenergize and reconnect. You will participate in four mindfulness techniques and receive handouts to take home that will help you sustain mindful living at home and at work.
Lunch, coffee, tea and water included. Dress comfortably, journal optional.

Welcome ALL mothers who are bereaved. There is no time frame on our grief., if your loss was longer ago or recent. Each of us has experienced the death of a child. We gather together to support, gain strength and provide comfort.
