The retreat location is being held at The Farm B&B, just off Highway # 3 between Delhi and Tillsonburg on Fern Lea Side Road.
Recently renovated and bursting with
country charm, The Farm opened early September 2015 and offers several clean, quiet rooms.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city The Farm is the perfect stay for business, wedding parties, or to simply get away from the distractions of modern life. (from the website)
The Farm B&B has been host to a few weekends for the Bereaved Mothers Retreat since 2017. Marcia as The Farm host has opened her home to mothers some travelling long distances. The Farm B&B is an ideal cozy yet spacious atmosphere for the activities of spa and yoga sessions, alone time and country walks. The enormous kitchen hosts many delicious homemade meals including Marcia's homemade buns as well as numerous chats around the large kitchen table. Each mom has a comfortable and private room complete with a hand made quilt and flowers to welcome them.
The first retreat saw flowers that were donated by Mary Howe from Fern Lea flowers. Thank you to Mary and the Fern Lea Family. The October 2018 retreat brought practitioners Paula Owler and Beth Mason from Port Perry providing complimentary massage therapy and reflexology. In addition, Kathy Zsebok McSpadden shared her knowledge of DoTerra and provided the moms and volunteers with a special oil blend of their choice. Thank you ladies for your generous heartfelt time and expertise. The spa practitioners generously donate a spa gift to each mom following their session.
While visiting The Farm, you may wish to pack comfortable shoes and a jacket for walks and outdoor sits. Mother Nature has blessed the surrounding area with plenty of wild life and green space completing the overall atmosphere with a sense of openess, relaxation and calm.
The Farm B&B is located approximately 45 minutes to London, Ontario, 2 hours from Toronto, 30 minutes from Simcoe, and 10 minutes to Tillsonburg and is easily accessible to the major highways including the 401 and 403.
is a bereaved mother. Her son Matthew died suddenly in August 2009 at the age of 27 as a result of complications from addictions. Kimberly had been involved in meditation and alternative health modalities long before the tragic loss of her son, and now uses her knowledge and wellness background to offer a place for other moms who are bereaved. She does this as a give back or pay it forward; this is a not for profit offering, and she is always seeking practitioners who will donate their time to the moms.

Dates for the next retreat will be posted soon tentatively for the end of May 2020.
Please contact Kimberly to register as space is limited.
Welcome ALL mothers who are bereaved. There is no time frame on our grief, whether your loss was long ago or recent. Each of us has experienced the death of a child.
We gather together for self care, support, and comfort. Please do not hesitate to contact me for a chat and learn more about who I am, what this is all about, and discuss if this is good timing for you.
