On Saturday, we begin the retreat day with mindfulness meditation and gentle yoga.
The rest of the day, in between meals, every mom will receive up to three healing modalities/treatments in the "Healing Garden" at the farm offered by the chosen professional practitioners.
Following, we enjoy a treat of nutritious snacks and specialty teas with the therapists where we learn more about how these modalities can be incorporated into our every day living and also to help with some of the symptoms of grief tand mourning that we may be experiencing, such as, fatigue, lack of concentration, soreness, headaches, swings in appetite etc.
There are many "gift offerings" throughout the weekend that show up at just the right time.
A Cup of Tea
Throughout the weekend you will be able to sit with a cup of tea and take some "me" time.
As well, all of the meals and snacks are prepared with you in mind in the hope of bringing some comfort as you sit with other moms who are bereaved. Many nutritious snacks are also on hand all weekend long, day and night.
When we have experienced shock, one of the physiological responses that happens, is our thirst mechanism shuts down; therefore it is very important to the have cues or have someone to remind you of your fluid intake.
During the retreat weekend, we have plenty of fluids on hand and take time to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea, or a hot cup of coffee, or a cool glass of water anytime throughout the weekend.
is a bereaved mother. Her son Matthew died suddenly in August 2009 at the age of 27 as a result of complications from addictions. Kimberly had been involved in meditation and alternative health modalities long before the tragic loss of her son, and now uses her knowledge and wellness background to offer a place for other moms who are bereaved. She does this as a give back or pay it forward; this is a not for profit offering, and she is always seeking practitioners who will donate their time to the moms.

Dates for the next retreat will be posted soon tentatively for the end of May 2020.
Please contact Kimberly to register as space is limited.
Welcome ALL mothers who are bereaved. There is no time frame on our grief, whether your loss was long ago or recent. Each of us has experienced the death of a child.
We gather together for self care, support, and comfort. Please do not hesitate to contact me for a chat and learn more about who I am, what this is all about, and discuss if this is good timing for you.
